This one is really amazing, it’s made from only one square paper. It takes a lot of precreasing (folding before doing anything), but it’s not hard to do. A wonderful origami star by John Montroll. Unfortunately I cannot post the diagrams without the authors permission, so I made the video as clear as possible. If you happen to find the diagrams somewhere on the net let me know.
Video after the break.
Edit: thanks to oissin here are the diagrams: http://www.origami.cz/Bin/star.html.

ahh nice, Yeah i have the diagrams in PDF - document on my pc.
I cannot host the diagrams without the authors consent, and since I already made the video I’m too lazy to ask.
ah ok, I just found them on the internet and downloaded them
If you care to give me a link I’d be happy to add it.
it’s not actually a real link, it’s more like a torrent. People scan books on to the computer and share them with others. If you have a torrent program, such as Bitlord you can get the diagrams. Goto isohunt.com and search for “origami montroll” where it says origami.pdf, download that, open it, and there you go. Just ask if you have trouble with anything
No good, this is like illegal publishing of the author’s book, I can’t use that. Also µTonnent is much better, smaller and without ads.
oh ok lol. I’ll use utorrent if thats better hehe.
is it possible for someone to email me the diagram, I got lost after the last quarter of the video.

Where can we get some good diagrams In ENGLISH!!!!!
@ Nick: so I should keep up going fast so you wouldn’t be able to keep up… can do.
I could only find the diagrams in Czech, if anybody knows where to find English ones let me know. I think the Czech diagrams are very well done and do not need to be much more explicit… but that’s me.
Could someone PLEASE email me the pdf diagram?? Or provide a link? Would be much appreciated.
My email is wamomoftriplets@comcast.net

That is a nice star. It looks alot like the omega star but with different folds. I give two thumbs up for that oissin. I am not using sarcasm to be honest with you.
[...] other video was too fast, so I hope you can understand this one. But I will never repeat myself enough: look at [...]
sweet… but, i have a question. at the end of every video i’ve seen on how to make this, people just smush the open end, and it just sits that way. i try it, and it practically flops apart. how do you the very end?
