Video: Star

Star

Here’s a nice star for you by František Grebeníček, unfortunately this origami doesn’t hold together very well, I’d recommend glue if really necessary. It’s made of two identical pieces, so I guess it’s a modular.

The diagrams are in Czech, but the most important are the pictures. Video after the break.

ahh, cool, yea you’re right. it doesn’t hold together as good as the others, but no need for glue though. It’s not art if you use glue or scissors i think. Good job! waited a long time for a new video:D great to have you back!

You’re right, it’s not a very good model, but it’s still origami. If you feel like committing origami blasphemy go ahead and use glue.

Awesome! i just did this from youtube, then came to your site.I used silver foil-style paper i bought to make xmas ornaments & it came out great! i think the foil helps it hold together even better, because it stays flatter & doesn’t tend to “bounce”. can’t wait to explore your site! thanks so much for all the work.

[...] it was meant to be glued together. I used 6 square papers of 10cm. The beginning is the same as the star, but is folded a bit differently to get to the same result. Diagrams are here and the video after [...]
