The sprinkler origami is not a very spectacular modular compared to some others on this site, but it definitely suits the beginners. Made by Paula Versnick. The modules only need 8 creases and the assembly is really straight forward. You can do as many modules as you want and assemble them differently, the video shows how to fold a module, how to connect it to another one and some examples. The modules can also be sinked, it’s a really good model for practicing that move.
Diagrams here and the video and some more pictures after the break.

I think your web rocks I just want to know how you make a origami dollar ring? Do you know how to do it?
An origami ring like that goes around a finger? there are hundreds of videos of it, just Google it. Otherwise there’s also a dollar doughnut, it’s in the same style as the origami spring, but also very difficult to fold, I’ll get around that one sometime.
hehe
Fun and easy model:P thanks. I liked that model since you can you so much with it. Appreciate it:-)

Can you please make a video showing how to assemble the 12 module sprinkler. I can’t do it. I’ve tried, but I can only make the 12 module planur.
Thanks!
@ben: when assembling the sprinkler remember that instead of connecting to 3 modules like the planar it connects to 2. I’m sure you’ll get it eventually, just learn by trial and error.
could you show me how to make a harder flasher
